No she isn't. she has had the humax 9200t for 4 years with no problems so i feel she knows what she's doing. basically she is going to the epg and pressing ok - usually chooses the record whole series option.. Freesat says it's been working with the bbc and humax to solve the problem, but admitted today that 'we've been urgently trying to find a fix for the recording bug but… humax can't currently fix the bug that prevents recording of the 24 olympic channels on their freesat+ box'.. The problem remains, tried 2 epg recordings both didn't record. can press the record button on remote with no problem. have done a power cycle before setting up the timings above. let's hope humax or whoever sort it soon..
We bought a humax hdr-1100s, from a limited choice of freesat recorders. the interface is clumsy/confusing, it takes forever to start up, and there are no power/recording lights, but the picture and sound are fine.. Sounds suspiciously like a problem with the humax box to me unless others have had similar problems on other freesat pvr's.. my humax has barely missed a beat in the last 12 months of use but last weekend decided to stop recording emmerdale omnibus on itv3, has also only recorded 2 minutes of coronation street on thursday and only started.
