I want to pimp out one of the cars i stole, but i am afraid that if i do, and lose it/destroy it, it wont come back. i read somewhere that if you saved it, it would come back, but i tried it and it never did. the only one that is truly saved is the special social club car, not any others you put. Best answer: you have to put it in the players respective garage. for instance franklin's garage isn't at the house, look on the map for a green building that looks like a garage door, and take your vehicles there.. Yes, keep a save with the car in your garage before getting it seriously damaged then reload that save whenever you want. i find the simplicity of old school saving much better than going through all the tracker and insurance claim portion available online..

When i play gta v and place my customized car in the garage it always disappears. i spent $100,000 on a car and saved it in my garage. but when i loaded up my game it was gone and nowhere to be found.. Any car you mod and save to any garage (whether it be your house garage or a larger bought garage), you will always retain, unless you explode the vehicle, which kind of makes sense. once you explode the car, it's gone, so just becareful..
