Camtasia audio problem in the camtasia recorder window, we can select 'wave' as the audio source but there is no activity shown in the audio vertical slide. we have wave selected in thecounds and audio devicesaudio recording control and if we slide the volume control up and down, the volume control in camtasia's recorder window also goes up. With camtasia studio 8, mp3 audio that was encoded as variable bitrate can cause issues like those described in this thread. the problem with vbr mp3 files is that there's no index which describes where the "frames" of audio are in the file..
